Where I’m coming from

My Vernon-Roots date back to 1950 when my grandparents came to Vernon and laid their footprints on the early development; forming the original 27th Street, building and operating the late Skyway Movie Theatre (now Skyway condos), constructing over 200 houses, and owning, farming, and developing 1000’s of acres in the Vernon area.

Born in the North Okanagan, I spent my first 18 years on a large acreage raising animals and producing ginseng, hay, and grain. In high-school I majored in business, and by 15 was an independent contractor instructing local dance classes. At 19 I purchased my first home in the city and with the inspiration of a fabulous Realtor® discovered my passion for Real Estate. In partnership with my family, I made a career of purchasing, renovating, and flipping local properties. Post-secondary, I studied business communications at Okanagan University College and Sprott Shaw Community College and then continued on to the University of British Columbia, Sauder School of Business, to obtain my Trading Services Licensing (Realtor®) education.

Real Estate is a career choice from my heart. Having the opportunity to share my expertise on and passion for the North Okanagan, apply my business education, exercise my creativity, and operate as an entrepreneur has made my professional life very fulfilling.

My personal take on the industry

I truly believe that Real Estate Agency is about Service not Sales.

I’m not interested in participating in listing competitions or winning sales awards. I don’t offer Air Miles, cruises, or the chance to win a Free Car. I will never knock on your door or call during dinner time to see if you are considering selling your home or if you know any neighbours who are.

What you will find hanging on my wall is educational certificates and “Thank You” cards. My purpose is to make the process of buying or selling property as simple, stress-free, and effortless as possible for my clients.

I run my business on the principal of offering an attractive quality service rather than being an aggressive salesperson.
